Washington Teen Drivers Ed License

Steps To Getting A Driver's License

Complete driver training. Select an in-car driving school where you will take 6 hours of behind the wheel lessons with a certified instructor and fulfill your 30 hours of classroom drivers education, a maximum of two hours a day.

Practice behind the wheel driving for 50 hours. With your parent, guardian, and /or adult driver you must get 50 hours of supervised driving practice. You will need to document the hours so keep a notebook handy and log your driving time.

Pass the driving test. Between the Washington drivers ed you received from igottadrive.com, your driving school classroom education and lessons, and your practice driving, you should be armed and ready for this test. Get signed-up at your local Driving School or DOL office and schedule your test at the nearest testing location. Inquire about taking your driving test with your driving school as well. Be sure to bring everything you need to be successful the first time, Driving Test Information.
